The Columbian Endorses Brad Lothspeich for County Commissioner
July 27, 2008 9:46 AM
After interviewing all seven, hearing them at forums and studying their records, The Columbian Editorial Board recommends Brad Lothspeich, a Republican . . .
Lothspeich, given his background, temperament, intellect and stance on the issues, shows the most promise at this point. He is a former Fire District 6 chief who grew up in the Lake Shore area and is a manager at the Amphitheater at Clark County. He is supported by Morris, a Democrat, and has a lengthy record of civic involvement, exuding a clearheaded pragmatism and businesslike approach.
. . . we believe Lothspeich is the class of the field going into the primary.
